Making reading practice a system-wide objective may be one of the most important things we can do for students’ long-term outcomes. It’s time to focus as much on reading practice as we do on school culture, student-educator relationships, & socioeconomic factors. #ReadAcrossPA 📚
Americans need to read more, especially books written by Black writers. Schools especially need to be careful not to cut back on the amount of quality, rigorous reading they ask students to do. It is time to help students read more and build their reading stamina.
