Why are Microsoft Word files ".docX"? Because
Jean Paoli invented XML at Microsoft, adding a data layer to Office.

Now he's launching Docugami to put that data to use. I wrote about this coding legend's story: https://t.co/G2CmfGSmB8

10 years ago today kicked off ECMA TC45 in Brussels and worked to standardize #OpenXML https://t.co/cTwyOefrNe

[Eric White @EricWhiteDev]

@Depechie In any case, u can use System.IO.Compression to create an Open XML document. Not as simple as Open-Xml-Sdk, but doable.

[Eric White @EricWhiteDev]

@Depechie System.IO.Compression is available for UWP. There is a reasonable chance that Open-Xml-Sdk will compile with UWP. more...

[Eric White @EricWhiteDev]

@aldoestebanpaz Glad you are using them!!!

[Eric White @EricWhiteDev]

@Depechie UWP hasn't been tested. Further, I believe that System.IO.Packaging is not available in UWP. It is significant effort, not planned

Open-Xml-Sdk v3.0 Preview released! Supports Office 2016: https://t.co/qPla8ubeIv

[Eric White @EricWhiteDev]

@AntonioJMota Sorry for slow reply. No, pagination is not yet a feature in WmlToHtmlConverter. It is on the list, but is a big project.

[Eric White @EricWhiteDev]

@aldoestebanpaz Happy you are using them! New releases coming soon - stay tuned.

@spcghst440 @brijones Tim, look at this streaming approach - create huge spreadsheets with predictable mem use: https://t.co/75VqxYWiG5

[Eric White @EricWhiteDev]

@AntonioJMota No, pagination is not a feature of that module. That feature is on the wish list, though.

[Eric White @EricWhiteDev]

@MrDracow This is in progress. I will be releasing the first step in this direction this week.

[Eric White @EricWhiteDev]

@kwaazaar Some time around the end of January, support for Office 2016 should be released.

[Eric White @EricWhiteDev]
