75 South update: Semi that was wrecked is unloaded of its contents and is currently in the process of being moved. Crews on scene state the highway should be opening back up around 9:00PM

Update: Owen Electric on scene. No ETA for power being restored or for Richardson Road being opened. Please avoid Richardson Road if possible.

Richardson Road shut down currently from Turkeyfoot to Narrows Road due to multiple electrical poles snapped. No injuries. 1 driver was trapped but now is out. Owen Electric on scene.

Update on the 75 south scene: Crews have begun offloading the tanker and estimate their time to be able to offload the contents to be 2 hours from now.

75 south at the 184.3 mile marker coming off of 275 East on the collector is shut down due to an overturned semi. All lanes are blocked currently. We will update on traffic as the crews work on scene. No active leak from the tanker at this time.

Update on scene: contents of tanker must be transferred before truck can be moved. Truck responsible for transfer is estimated at 6 hours out currently. Crews working with company involved are working on faster solutions if possible.

The second Youth Leadership Academy of Erlanger held its last class today. The students, who learned about being a leader inside and outside the classroom, graduated after meeting on Wednesdays (since September) at the city building.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Lt.Phil Bender earlier today. Phil has been a member of @florencekyfire for 10 years where he has been asssigned to E-103. He was a selfless public servant and will be greatly missed.

Thanks to Chief Todd Whitaker of @ErlangerFire for teaching the Youth Leadership Academy today as the students learned about restraint. The next class is on Wednesday, November 20 from 3:30pm-5:30pm at the city building.
