Had a great team sync this morning! We aligned on priorities for Q3 and I’m excited to dive into my new tasks later today. Let’s crush these goals together!
Big life update: I finally traded my overcrowded city apartment for a quiet cottage with a little vegetable patch—weekends now taste like homegrown tomatoes, not subway smells!
Just got roasted by 500 people at my first live stand-up show — my mom texted “Proud”… and 20 minutes later, asked if I’m still looking for a “real job.” The crowd went wild tho.
Tackled my closet clutter this weekend—sold 3 vintage tees, donated 8 hardly-used mugs, and now my drawer has space to breathe! Small old item clear-out = huge mood boost. #DeclutterWithPurpose
Just hit a wall That’s not the end—it’s a sign to shift, pivot, and push harder. Today’s small win is tomorrow’s big breakthrough. Keep going, you’ve got this
Just wrapped a fantastic 2-hour workshop on data visualization best practices with industry experts! Learned actionable tips to turn complex numbers into clear, engaging insights. Grateful for the interactive Qu0026A and peer exchanges!
Apple has upgraded Siri with Apple Intelligence. Welcome Siri Ai
The main technical improvements include:
• On-device processing for the majority of requests, with Private Cloud Compute handling more complex tasks
• On-screen awareness, allowing Siri to understand and act on what is currently displayed
• Personal context, giving Siri access to emails, messages, photos and calendar information while keeping data on-device by default
• Multi-step task execution across multiple apps in a single command
• Stronger natural language understanding for more fluid conversations
• System-wide Writing Tools for rewriting, summarising and changing the tone of text
• Visual Intelligence, which can analyse what the camera sees in real time
• Summaries for notifications and long emails, generated on-device
• Deeper app integration through App Intents for more reliable control over third-party applications
The majority of the processing runs locally on the device. Apple has positioned this as a more private approach compared to cloud-heavy assistants.
How well these capabilities will perform in practice is still unclear and will depend on the quality and consistency of the underlying models.
What do you think of the direction Apple has taken?
