Abdurraheem Almufti Yelwa, son of Professor Mansur Isa Yelwa, has achieved a remarkable milestone by winning the prestigious Holy Qur’an Recitation Competition held at Umm Al-Qura University, Saudi Arabia.

This outstanding achievement has once again brought pride and honor to Nigeria on the international stage, showcasing the dedication, excellence, and talent of the nation's youth in the study and recitation of the Noble Qur’an.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to him and pray that Allah increases him in knowledge, wisdom, and blessings. May this success serve as a source of benefit for him, his family, and the entire Muslim Ummah.

They represent Islam; yet they kill, rape, steal and maim. These are people who want Sharia Law. Whereas in a Sharia State killing means you are going to be hanged. Stealing means your hands are going to be chopped off.

According to Shehu, a U.S. Embassy political officer approached him in Kaduna, offered him money, and asked him to drop a parcel at the Durbar Hotel as part of what he described as a campaign against the Abacha government. Shehu says he refused, only for the hotel to be bombed shortly after, with journalist Bagauda Kaltho later linked to the incident.

This story forces a larger question: how many times has Nigeria’s instability been engineered, sponsored, or encouraged by foreign powers, only to be later presented to us as our own failure? This is why Africans must pay closer attention to the history we are told, the history that is hidden, and the people who benefit from our chaos.

#Alhamdulillah, in the past 28 days—during the blessed month of Ramadan—188 people have embraced Islam in the city of #Philadelphia.

Yesterday alone, 13 individuals accepted Islam. May Allah reward our brothers at @GtownMasjid Dawah Center for their efforts and dedication.

HOW TO PRAY SALATUL JANAZA.

1- After the First Takbeer: Recite Surat Al-Fatiha.

1. Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem
2. Alhamdu lillaahi Rabbil 'aalameen
3. Ar-Rahmaanir-Raheem
4. Maaliki Yawmid-Deen
5. Iyyaaka na'budu wa lyyaaka nasta'een
6. Ihdinas-Siraatal-Mustaqeem
7. Siraatal-lazeena an'amta 'alaihim ghayril- maghdoobi 'alaihim wa lad-daaalleen

2- After the Second Takbeer: Salat Al-Ibrahimiyya to the end.

Allaahumma salli 'alaa Muhammadin wa 'alaa 'aali Muhammadin, kamaa sallayta 'alaa 'Ibraaheema wa 'alaa 'aali 'Ibraaheema, 'innaka Hameedun Majeed Allaahumma baarik 'alaa Muhammadin wa 'alaa 'aali Muhammadin, kamaa baarakta 'alaa 'Ibraaheema wa 'alaa 'aali 'Ibraaheema, 'innaka Hameedun Majeed

3- After the Third Takbeer: Pray for the dead but according to how it was narrated by our beloved Prophet Muhammad (Blessings and Peace be upon him). Yaa Allah! forgive our living and our dead, those who are with us and those who are absent, our young and our old, our menfolk, and our womenfolk. Any of your local language/ tribe

Yaa Allah, whomever you give life from among us gives him life in Islam, and whomever you take away from us takes him away in faith. Yaa Allah, do not forbid us their reward and do not send us astray after them.

4- Lastly after the 4th Takbeer: And you should pray for all Muslims.

5- And Finally, end the prayer with one Salaam to the right (just once).

May Allah (Sub-haanahu wata'aala) forgive our shortcomings and our dead ones. May Allah grant us Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen 🤲🏻
