We anticipate returning to our regular school calendar on Monday, Oct. 14, which is a pre-scheduled teacher duty day/student holiday. Additionally, grading period 1 will now end on Oct. 17, 2024, and grading period 2 will now begin on Oct. 18, 2024. Information will be communicated in the future about making up these instructional days.

Volusia County Schools continues to work with Volusia County Emergency Management Services to monitor Hurricane Helene. While rain, wind, and debris are expected, it is not anticipated to be severe enough in Volusia County to impact school operations tomorrow.
