Yes it’s halal but that doesn’t mean we eat it, horse is halal and we don’t eat that either. Our dietary restrictions don’t mean we eat everything that is halal.

It’s not immorally incorrect to eat an animal deemed halal which is exactly what a dolphin is. We don’t because in the context of society it is judged as morally incorrect due to the animal’s intelligence.
