I’ve booked some time in the iso booth at the library this week so in theory August 1961 will get done & posted soon. Should be a Fantastic Four part episode. *hint hint*
Eventually he stopped drinking water altogether, passed out during training, ended up in the hospital, and was finally sent home.
I still think about that guy sometimes and wonder what happened to him after he failed out of basic.
We had a guy in basic training who complained constantly. Everything hurt, he always needed sick call, and it seemed like he was looking for any excuse to get out of training.
Instead of taking the hint, he doubled down. One of his big things was that he refused to drink water. He’d proudly tell everyone he only drank juice, soda, or whatever else. We’d ask him, “What do you think makes those things wet?”
I’ve been keeping myself busy with a new hobby. I love comic books and turning that love into a show has been an adventure in itself.
I’m hopeful.
Creating something new has helped me remember that even when some things end, not everything has to.
later today im going to meet what I hope is my new therapist, my former one is on maternity leave & I wish her & the baby the absolute best.
I’m optimistic.
I’m dealing with grief & loss but moving forward & not letting the grief define my personality.
I’m starting a new business, relocating that business, relocating my whole life to a city I haven’t stepped foot in since I was a child, & then starting over from there.
I’m cautiously optimistic.
I could easily fail & find myself more alone than I already am.
got a 2” circle punch & have been experimenting with some nylon sticker paper.
this is it yall. Im going to try to make a small business trying to put a serious dent in date rape statistics with this, THE ORIGINAL FLAVOR SAVOR, a reusable snap on can cover.
audio engineering 101
I forgot to slate the recordings right before i started talking and now getting these two videos to sync is like pulling teeth.
I may call it a learning experience & re-record everything in the morning when the library will be even quieter.
