⚡ Strengthening South Africa’s Grid for the Future

At the Africa Energy Forum, Monde Bala, Chief Executive Officer of the National Transmission Company South Africa (NTCSA), participated in a high-impact panel discussion on “South Africa – Grid Resilience and Expansion.” The session focused on NTCSA’s Transmission Development Plan (TDP)—a bold programme to deliver 14 500 km of new transmission infrastructure over the next 10 years, unlocking capacity for growth, renewables and regional integration.

🔹 How are regulatory reforms and financial instruments (e.g., CGV) enabling this trailblazing project?
