The students are excited and weโre ready to go on Monday. Thanks @Seesaw for breathing some new life into our home reading steps. #WeLoveToRead#Seesaw#WickProud
On average, an educator uses 148 unique Ed tech tools & students use 143 Ed tech tools over a school year. Think about the cognitive load that requires students - K-12. @kmishmael @peteandc#peteandc23
@classcomposer We are in a temporary location this year (and last) and I lack space, so I have not planned on physical data walls. I will take a look at this! Thanks.
A2: My 4th grade team has really been digging into beginning year data and trying to figure out how we can really individualize learning (really!) and apply some healthy competition to that learning. We are currently in the idea phase! #ktichat#education#edchat
A3: The shift I made last year was in our science instruction. I made it A LOT more hands on. Kids were excited about learning and really understood the concepts better. I am adding more hands on this year to our instruction. #ktichat
Q4: This is hard for me because I myself am very point driven. I "grade" a lot of their work, but I do it to show their growth. They know many of these "grades" are not reported and I stress the growth they are having throught the "grades" they earn. #ktichat
A1: This year, I'm really thinking about how I can tighten up my routines at school so that I can have more downtime after school. I vow to not take too much home with me (as I sit here "grading" papers and chatting). #ktichat#education#edchat#backtoschool
