الاستدلال بالمقولة المنسوبة إلى عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه في هذا السياق غير صحيح. فهي ليست حديثًا نبويًا، بل أثر تاريخي لم يثبت بإسناد صحيح تقوم به الحجة، فلا يصح بناء المواقف والأحكام الشرعية عليه، فضلًا عن إسقاطه على واقع يختلف عن سياقه.

ولو صح ثبوتها، فإن عمر رضي الله عنه كان يتحدث عن الدولة الساسانية المحاربة في زمانه، لا عن إيران المعاصرة.

بل إن النبي ﷺ أثنى على المؤمنين من فارس بقوله: «لو كان الإيمان عند الثريا لناله رجال من فارس». البخاري ومسلم.

فالعدل يقتضي التفريق بين النصوص الشرعية والآثار التاريخية، وبين نقد سياسات دولة بعينها والتعميم على شعب أو أمة بأكملها.

وإيران اليوم ليست الدولة الساسانية التي قاتلها عمر رضي الله عنه، بل دولة مسلمة وعضو في منظمة التعاون الإسلامي، تُحاكم شرعًا على سياساتها وأفعالها المعاصرة، لا على تاريخ دولة زالت قبل أكثر من أربعة عشر قرنًا.

ويبقى السؤال لمن يحتج بهذه المقولة: هل مصر اليوم هي مصر فرعون التي واجهها موسى عليه السلام؟ وهل نعتبر كل من حكم مصر بعد ذلك امتدادًا لفرعون (كمبارك نموذجًا) فننزل عليه جميع آيات فرعون؟

فإذا كان الجواب لا، لأن الدول والأنظمة تتغير بتغير الأزمنة والوقائع، فلماذا تُعامل إيران اليوم على أنها هي نفسها الدولة الساسانية التي قاتلها عمر رضي الله عنه؟!

Spain is a medium size country with huge dependencies on others.

It still takes a clear moral stance.

Iran has been under attack for 47 years, and has to bear a crippling and brutal sanctions regime. And it is surrounded by willing, duplicitous slaves.

It still takes a clear moral stance.

Russia and China are huge world powers with almost unlimited capabilities and resources, especially when working together.

And they choose to stand for absolutely NOTHING on the world stage. No vision, no principle. Only a desire to get along with the West and not be directly occupied.

Spain and Iran choose to stand for humanity in one of its darkest hours. The rest, including Russia and China, stand for cowardlyness and materialism. No courage and no inspiration.

They should be called out for it, so that no one gets confused about what resistance and solidarity actually means.

Freedom is also recognizing reality only for what it is, and humanity looks just pathetic right now, maybe more than ever before

وإنني بقلب كسير أتضرع إلى الله سبحانه وتعالى أن يغمد الراحل برحمته ويسكنه فسيح جناته.
