Head of Local Services with Alzheimer's Society. Northern roots replanted. Aka Auntie Emma, Leyther ๐, Marathoner! Did I mention.... ๐ My views, my words
Civic launch of #BlackHistoryMonth in the company of some esteemed speakers, guests and performers in Manchester. So much to tecognise and celebrate. Well said @AndyBurnhamGM#BHM2023
More than a quarter of unpaid carers looking after a loved one with dementia have said they're worse off financially because of their responsibilities, according to the Alzheimer's society.
The charity is calling on the government to do more to support them.
Thank You ๐ to everyone who has supported our Finding A Way To WemberLeigh Campaign. The generosity of Leythers never fails to amaze us as a club. โค๏ธ๐ค
Lets get as many fans, no matter their situation in life, to WemberLeigh : https://t.co/zJQeCxtoAW

@derek_beaumont@LeighLeopardsRL What a day. Absolute scenes! Mum was at Wembley in '71, a few months before I was born. I'll be back with her in August and I can't wait ๐
YES LEIGH!!!!! What a game. I could barely watch in the second half. Off to Wembley for the Challenge Cup final for the first time in just about my lifetime. UnbeLEIGHvable!! โค๏ธ ๐ ๐ @LeighLeopardsRL@wembleystadium
One of my more creative days @alzheimerssoc though I can't claim credit for all these! Brilliant to join with colleagues to consider what quality looks like. Especially rewarding to hear from people living with dementia about what's important for them ๐ #involvement
Looking forward to time with teams in and around Cardiff in the next instalment of my away day travels (Doing my best to avoid blue sky thinking references... it's hard!) @AlzheimersCymru@alzheimerssoc
A joyous and celebratory afternoon with music, dance and food as well as bumping into colleagues and local friends. I left full of ideas, smiles and jollof rice ๐ Thank you @cahn_uk#Windrush75
Thereโs so much to experience at our #CAHNWindrushDay2023 such as live performances, black business stalls, the elders corner and amazing Caribbean food ๐คฉ
Happy International Women in Engineering Day to all the brilliant and inspiring women in this hugely varied profession. Hopefully things are improving compared to when I wrote this (spoiler alert - answer was yes) #INWED23

Great job opportunity to support @AlzSocCampaigns@AlzSocNI 's ambitions to drive major system and policy change for those living with dementia across Northern Ireland, Wales and England.
Check it out - but be quick - closing date is 26th June.

Such an important film, thank you @NinaWarhurst for sharing your experiences and highlighting the value of enabling people living with #dementia to get out and about with confidence
Nina's latest film about her dad Chris, who is living with dementia, looks at helping him live independently.
This time it looked at helping people who are shopping or going to places such as cafes.
Here's part of her report from #BBCBreakfast
