Used @Venmo for a large amt of money.Cleared bank, kept pending on venmo.3 phone calls, I'm told, it's a technical issue, we don't know when it'll go to the recipient.I'll file a fraudulent claim with my bank.Wouldn't you know, the issue magically fixed itself & money was sent.
Your customer service is a joke and rude. Won't give exactly what time zone end of day is, have had a pending transaction since Aug 1st, funds left my bank account Aug 3rd so now I'm being told today even though the app said yesterday. CashApp is better than you!
@VenmoSupport
Thanks @amazon for shipping with the least reliable carrier, @FedEx . I am now headed to a baby shower sans gift because my prime order has been delayed multiple times due to "carrier issues". And I ordered well in advance, considering the weather and other factors.
I have
YouTube TV
NFL Sunday Ticket
Disney Plus
and I cannot legally watch MNF
I have an antenna...and ABC is the only channel that doesn't come in lol
In a previous church I was on staff for, I tried for 3 years in a row to get leadership to release financials to the congregation at the end of the year. As marketing director, I wanted to produce and mass-print a 30,000 ft view of how the church spent their money. When I first presented the idea, I was met with, at best, indifference to the idea. But I wasn’t told no, so I took it upon myself to go to each department and get financials.
I’m talking — what percentage of your budget went to missions? What percentage went to our community? What percentage went to helping our members? High level, big picture stuff.
No one, and I mean no one, could give me that info. Not a single department. I was met with hem-hawing. I was gaslit. I was told they didn’t have that info (total lie).
I tried for 3 years in a row to make this happen, naively thinking it was simply clerical issues — bad tracking mechanisms, etc. I even implemented a CRM for the church in order to get this info.
That printout never happened. It took me several years to realize why. The answer was a lot simpler and a lot more sinister than I wanted to admit at the time.
They simply didn’t want anyone to know what they were doing with the money.
Church, stay far away from so-called pastors who won’t tell you how they spend your tithe money. And for the love of God Almighty, stop giving them your money. We have to stop enabling monsters.
