@TeacupCupcakes Good luck for your operation Dawn. Hope there’s a therapy dog 🐶 at hospital to help calm you. Message us which hospital and ward and we’ll share with the team who organises the dogs. 🐕
"We know a hospital visit isn't ideal - but what makes you smile when you visit our hospitals?"
Our gardens?
Artwork on the walls?
Colchester duck pond?
Our therapy dogs?
Being near the coast at our community sites?
Something else?
Charles, 76, has just received his 100th round of immunotherapy, having been given months to live in 2019, after a cancer diagnosis.
Charles said: "The @NHS has always been there for me.”
Charles, from Holland-On-Sea, visits Clacton Hospital's Jubilee Unit for his treatment.
Our head of chaplaincy Linda Peall retires today after five years at ESNEFT and a 20-year NHS career, to spend more time with her family, take in theatre trips to London, and photograph local wildlife and nature, as part of her pastime as an amateur naturalist.
Good luck Linda!
Today we say goodbye to long-serving nurse Karen, who works her final shift at Ipswich Hospital.
Karen qualified as a nurse at Ipswich in 1986 and has worked in a number of areas since, mainly with our elderly patients.
Thank you for everything, Karen, enjoy your retirement.
@enuffisenuff19 We absolutely agree and have shared information through local news, social media, in our hospitals and on patient letters to help spread the word. We'd love it if you also helped us spread the message to your friends and family. Thanks 🙌
