Tonight we had a special event for our ladies only to learn about low cost mammograms in the area through the Promise Fund! They loved leaving the men behind to do their coursework lol!

This teacher appreciation week I made sure to include our incredible Adult Education teachers who do so much for our community!

Why I keep books in my office at all times - one of my girls saw my copy of Twilight today and was giddy with excitement. She is making her buddy take turns reading it out loud with her. Heart soaring with happiness! @PrincipalBurke

I remember my 17 year old telling me about how much he appreciated his AP teacher who always allowed students to make HW and test corrections.
He told me: “She said it doesn’t matter when we get it… as long as we get it.”
