Our ESRs enjoyed probably their last BioNano Summer school in Hirschegg, all together. It's now time for some of them to finish and go their way but the collaborations, friendships and learning experiences during this STIMULUS project were so enriching and should never stop!���🫂

Lately, the ESRs met for the Gender and Ethics Workshop hosted by the University of Siegen. We listened to various talks from animal experimentation and medical ethics to gender awareness and sex disparities in different medical conditions. Nice catch up with friends too! 💃🏻

We also attended our self-organized conference on smart antimicrobial and sensing materials in Darmstadt. 🧫🥼
It was very nice and enriching to meet all the speakers and exchange ideas during the poster presentations.

Last week, the ESRs participated in scientific writing and communication workshops led by Dr. Philipp Mayer from Science Textflow and Dr. Sascha Vogel from Science Birds, hosted in TU-Darmstadt 📖💻

A month ago, the ESRs were reunited for the Bio-Nano Summer school in Hirschegg. A great time spent networking, sharing about science, planning secondments and hiking in the mountains ! ⛰️
