@pyrogary1@BobLonsberry Even if that clause didn’t have to do with Free Trade agreements which haven’t been signed, but the US signed the same agreement! Should Canada be mad about the many deals you’ve signed with the Chinese?
@gbeldman66@ronmortgageguy@scoopercooper The way this is going you need to add a zero and remember what % that is of people not employed by the government. A trade war is devastating to Canada - hopefully the impact on the midterms will be enough to get them back to the table. It’s our only hope.
@1st_12151791@jimiuorio But anything Tariffed is part of USMCA that Trump signed. Negotiate changes if you want in future agreements/revisions but imposing new tariffs to force concessions is bullying behaviour.
@_PA_KAG_girl@mdebleser So, instead of building Fortress North American with Canada, Trump develops policies to force Canada into China’s arms? Make it make sense - Canada hated the Chinese before Trump - now they hate Trump more. Many Canadians are stupid but Trump made it much worse.
@GordKehler@DimitrisSoudas Can we stop with this already? Energy has some leverage (much less in reality than people think) but bonds have ZERO leverage. It’s a blip and would be a catastrophic mistake to even threaten that.
@robert96496@EricLDaugh lol - you clearly haven’t read any of my past posts - couldn’t be further from the truth. What is the error in my question to Eric?
@antoineche76907@EricLDaugh Not correct. That was the original contract that Trump reneged on. Now after operating costs (depreciation and interest would be part of that) the profit will be split. There will be profit assuming the bridge is busy enough.
@mrbcpa99@EricLDaugh@Mr_Jordan18 There will be profits as long as the bridge is busy enough. Depreciation is probably longer than 30 years for bridges - the longer the depreciation term the higher the profits that will be split (since the depreciation expense per year is less)

@darrin_reay@Sid_Seixeiro First comment I’ve been able to find defending bringing in Little. It was an insane risk for Schneider - if Hoffman or Domingaz blow the game, we blame them. Now John wears it for bringing in one of our worst performing pitchers. Was a dumb decision for every reason.
