Harlem Eubank vs David Papot last night was a prime example of why you should never judge a fight before you've seen it.

Neither fighter has been in particularly entertaining bouts in the past. Eubank was famously involved in a stinker with Jack Catterall, while Papot has won just five of his 30 victories by way of knockout. On paper, it looked uninteresting.

In practice, it was anything but. A tension-filled war with four knockdowns and a surprising result to boot, both men left everything in the ring after a 12-round thriller.

Fights like this are why boxing is the greatest sport in the world. Harlem Eubank and David Papot, we salute you - and we're very sorry for writing you off.

Might seem like an odd signing at first, but Johnny Fisher is very, very popular. In many ways, this is a canny move from @Zuffa_Boxing.

He brings a loyal following with him wherever he goes. He's a ticket seller, unlike many of the top fighters in boxing at the moment.

We've always liked him and have wished him nothing but success - we're also big fans of his dad, @Johnfis08605918.

Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury shouldn't take place at 2am GMT. I understand the need to cater for the US audience, but does it need to be made less accessible for the UK audience as a byproduct?

Yes, the UK public have shown that they'll stay up to watch major sporting events - the World Cup is proof of this. But, let's be real. AJ vs Fury is an event that will primarily appeal to UK audiences, not US audiences. Joshua and Fury are superstars in the UK - outside of the UK, they are still well-known, but their overall reach is undeniably diminished.

Ultimately, this is a fight that boxing fans in the UK have anticipating for well over a decade now. To cut them out of the equation would be a huge slap in the face.

On top of all this, having the fight at 11pm GMT doesn't make it inaccessable to US viewers - they'll just have to watch it at mid-afternoon, rather than the evening.

Come on, @Turki_alalshikh. You know what makes sense.
