@StefanMolyneux You have it wrong. The moral argument is exactly that. If God does not exist there are no objective moral duties and responsibilities.
If there are objective moral duties and responsibilities, then God must exist.
@LeonardG56161@sola_chad Wait! I see the verses support a figurative interpretation of Scripture. Job is poetry and Psalms are songs. Those are meant to be read figuratively. So it follows that Adam’s creation story would be figurative as well. Does that follow?

@OU812_12345 @sola_chad There are cues in the text when the author wants the reader to know it’s myth and not fact. For example, Job 1:1 starts “In the land of Uz there lived a man named Job.” This is the literary equivalent of starting a story, “A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…”
@hookskat Well, I feel this incredible love toward every human being (past, present, and future). Not like a whole love for all (like a love of humanity). It was more like an intimate relationship with each individual.

@calmAndRational My ex-wife is giving me a really hard time. She depriving me of having any meaningful parenting time with my 9yo daughter. It’s so painful. It’s really hard to be good to her.
@hookskat My Methodist church has a lot of charismatic influence like praying in tongues and gifts the the Spirit. My pastor told me that I should try praying in tongues for 20 minutes everyday for the next 3 days.
