Hi there! I’m Essjayne. I like to make these things called Earthpaintings. It’s a word I made up, born out of the process by which they are created. Let me tell you about it: 🧵
Big news.
Incredibly excited for this partnership with @Collector_Crypt. They fit beautifully with the lower room experience we are bringing this fall with @cycol_gallery 2.0.
Working with exceptional @solana based companies like CC and leveling up what Cycol is and can be as we become a major art and culture hub in NYC. Big thanks to @TuomHolmberg and @bassbuddha for taking a chance on us. And big s/o to @Pedromiranda for being the great connector he is. Here we go!
Cycol Gallery is excited to announce @TrevElViz as our official Breakpoint @SolanaEvents artist for 2026.
Trev’s original work will be displayed at large scale at Cycol’s stand during the conference in London. He will also be the very first @solana artist to hold a solo exhibition at the gallery in spring 2027.
Visit our activation at BP to learn more about Trev and Cycol Gallery’s plans through the rest of this year and into next, as we roll out 2.0.
Congratulations, Trev. Well deserved.

Our mission? Get the whole world on-chain through education and culture
We’re thrilled to announce this collab! Our team has spent years fighting an uphill battle to educate people about web3: we’ve organized 40+ international onboarding events and have supported thousands of creators in web3. After endless hours of fundraising, we’re still looking for support because many still don't see accessible education as a priority.
We met the @donatedotgg team and they set us up the same day of our first convo, becoming the fastest partnership we’ve ever had. Their support and excitement reminded us of the power of this community. Now, we want to show that Web3 DOES CARE about onboarding because decentralization and autonomy work best the more people are using these tools.
Please consider donating to our campaign to support our global cultural initiatives (link below)
And always remember,
Wait and Hope

Gm, I'm Lamp! I am an artist based in New York. My hybrid digital/physical practice is focused on systematically transforming data gathered from corporeal forms.
Here are some updates for NFTNYC
Still geeking that one of Biz’s rope chains is going to be at @cycol_gallery, along with the notepad where he wrote “Just A Friend”
I’m building something unique with Cycol. Something my teenage self would be proud of. Incorporating creative cultures that understand what it means to be told their art is not art. Combining web2 and web3 in ways that facilitate an understanding of one another. That nurtures inclusivity and provides education and opportunity. And I’m running it on @solana rails. So if you feel a type of way about this blockchain, get over it because something special is happening here.
This is but a taste of Cycol 2.0.
Today we wrapped up the third session of the Primavera Eterna Residency organized by @OneLoveArtDAO & @WaitHopeFound
We discussed the works of Colombian artists like Botero, Débora Arango, Édgar Negret, Ana Mercedes Hoyos, Carlos Jacanamijoy, who in different ways used their personal identities, hometowns, and histories as mechanisms for change through their art.
Some takeaways and ideas that came up while hearing these conversations:
- Onboarding should be super simple - think about how fast people to learned how to use the iPhone (touch screens) or chat GPT; we must build systems that make the onboarding process more intuitive. In the meantime,
- Artist Leaders
Artists/creators/builders are excellent community leaders and they can also build onboarding mechanisms that work and are practical for their respective communities.
- Accessibility is crucial!
Having web3 clubs/communities is great but not enough - we need to bring new people into these spaces and simplify things as much as possible. All of the artists in the residency are experimenting on this.
- More bridges
This industry needs to build as many bridges as its building rocket ships - rocket ships are cool and fast but many crash and/or don't work - roads are boring and not celebrated but everyone uses them. There has been a shift in the b2b/institutional side but I believe it needs to improve significantly on the consumer side.
These kinds of residency programs not only give opportunities to artists but they also become a launchpad/incubator for onboarding strategies. Artists/creators become credible community leaders that can help build bridges that work and are practical for their respective communities.
I also really appreciate all the work @Jeni_Pepen@lukoart_@nszcollections@ygbwrites@Shills_81@mariano_cuartas do to empower artists - they are doing work that no one else in this space is doing and it will make a huge difference for this movement.
Lastly, it is so fulfilling to listen to the residents share their ideas and visions for their projects. Excited to see them come to life.
