Good morning Family🤎 We’ve spent years building AI that understands words, images, code and digital information. Now we’re entering the era where AI has to understand something much harder: Reality. Autonomous vehicles need to understand their surroundings. Robots need to navigate physical environments. Logistics systems need accurate information about locations and infrastructure. World models need data that represents the environment beyond a computer screen. This creates an enormous demand for spatial data that is accurate, current and verifiable. That’s the problem @vangrid_io is working on. Instead of thinking about AI only as models and compute, we should also pay attention to the infrastructure supplying those models with information about the physical world.
