BREAKING: SpaceX is now targeting Thursday, July 23, for Starship’s 13th flight test.

The mission will attempt to deploy 20 Starlink V3 satellites, relight a Raptor engine in space, test Super Heavy’s boostback and landing burns, and complete a controlled splashdown.

Part of the reason I think Dogecoin has merit, even though it was obviously created as a joke, is that it has a much higher transaction-volume capacity than Bitcoin. The fee for a Dogecoin transaction is also very low.

Right now, the cost of a Bitcoin transaction is very high, so it cannot be used effectively for most things or scaled to a high volume.

When Bitcoin began around 2008, internet connections were dramatically worse than they are today. A small block size and a long synchronization time made sense then. But by 2021, or ten years later, its capacity is comically low."
