@VictorE47697310@RuneHistory@archaeogengu@BurnEr92976227@RolloRouen it is poetry, it is metaphorical, it is astract, it is history, it is myth, it is a fantasy it is ancient, and we are all biased what makes the story good is that it is open to interpretation and its intentional vagueness demands interpretation so "accuracy" is subjective here

@VictorE47697310@RuneHistory@archaeogengu@BurnEr92976227@RolloRouen anyone can play odysseus in a movie it doesn't matter if you are trying to be "historically accurate" that is completely seperate matter and studying greek history as a whole is required not intentionally vague metaphorical descriptions of characters

@VictorE47697310@RuneHistory@archaeogengu@BurnEr92976227@RolloRouen Odysseus is called black-skinned, 'melas' 'melanochroos' several times
you should demand black ethiopian or nigerian to play odysseus but of course you don't because you are selective with your interpretation.
Black for masculine qualities white for feminine. 😂 cope more
@VictorE47697310@RuneHistory@archaeogengu@BurnEr92976227@RolloRouen yeah poetry is not literal it is highly symbolic and astract and taking everything literally requires the sea to be the color of red wine but obviously that is false except you don't realize this method is used to describe the characters with highly metaphorical language
@VictorE47697310@RuneHistory@archaeogengu@BurnEr92976227@RolloRouen You have to take the poetic interpretation if you tried to be literal than odysseus should be cast as a nigerian and helen a scandinavian which is oviously false. Homer descries the ocean as the color of dark red wine therefore the ocean 3000 years ago looked like red wine 🤣
