Are you actually going to do anything to save Social Security? Mike Johnson mentioned many weeks ago that they intended to cut Social Security benefits next year. What are you going to do about that? We can’t let them take it away from Americans who worked all their lives to have something for retirement. For many Americans, that’s all they will have when they retire and they need that.

What you’re not telling people is that the same act will also require a birth certificate or passport besides a photo ID. Why is that a problem? Because if you’ve gotten married or simply changed your name, your birth certificate no longer matches what your ID says so you would not be able to vote. This is why Democrats are not in favor of this.
