Led my first story time all on my own!!! I’m so excited to be a library employee and the kids smiles were very rewarding. Also according to my Fitbit I basically did a cardio workout! #libraryjobs #cardio

I went to my book club without having read the book, I was encouraged to do so because I haven’t been in a while because I have trouble finishing the book in time (or even starting it). Book club is not as much fun when you have no idea what anyone is talking about. #BookClub

P.S I don’t use the phrase “day job” to diminish my career as a librarian, I am incredibly excited to join this field that has been close to my heart for a long time in many ways!! I am lucky I get to pursue 2 dreams at once!!

I am not abandoning my writing just adding something else to my life that will help me add some much needed interaction with people into my life. I think it’s going to be a wonderful “day job” to accompany my writing goals. What’s your day job #writingcommmunity ?
