This here is one of the major reason for failure in catfish farming.

A lot of fish farmers just see "big" fish and automatically classify them as broodstock.

Use them to hatch and either lose all within few days or those that eventually survive have reduced growth.

This method also has led to inbreeding which eventually cause slower growth of catfish

Personally, I think 20k monthly is enough for any Uni student to get by, especially if they are given foodstuffs from home.

1k weekly data, = 4k
Transport 500 daily = 2500 weekly = 10k
Miscellaneous = 2k
Save the remaining 4k for emergencies.

If 20k is not enough for you to manage as a struggling student, you are simply not prudent, and you need to learn financial management.
