but the rushed pace made me unable to get into the movie, unable to resonate with any emotion

@avidfilm irrelevant, the movie doesn’t have to follow the book structure to the letter
it has to adapt the story for the movies

it can keep the non linear story, but it also has to keep in mind that such a long story is hard to fit in 3hrs

the jumping around makes it feel like a tiktok
