It is with a heavy heart that I had to say goodbye to my cat Butterscotch today. She had been suffering the last 7 months and the vet visits brought no avail. I decided it was time for her to not suffer any longer. I held her in my arms as she passed, and told her that I loved her and how much she meant to me and how much she has done for me. I told her not to hesitate once she saw Jesus. I prayed to God that He would take her quickly without any pain and my prayer was answered. She went very quickly without any hesitation, almost as if she was ready to go. I pray now that God take good care of her and have her waiting for me im Heaven.

I'm heartbroken and can't stop crying. I feel I will have a hole in my heart for the rest of my life from the loss of her. For the past 11 years she's been in my life, she was my best friend and companion. She was there for me when others weren't and did things for me that not even other people had done. I consolidated in her and she would be there for me when I was hurting. I now am distraught and do not know how I'm going to carry on without her. She was one of the best things in my life and is now no longer here.

But God is still good. And I know that she is no longer suffering which makes me rejoice. I'm going to miss you so much, Butterscotch. I already do. Love your pets. For the price of life is death, and they will not always be around. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ.
