(2/2) why would Capcom release a brand new game (even a remake of an older one) before "finishing" the one they’ve released already?

2026 is Requiem’s year, its DLC should be released before the end of it, then we’ll move on to the next RE release.
It’s common sense to me 🤷🏻‍♂️

Not sure why there’s a debate regarding the Resident Evil Requiem DLC (or why there was one regarding third or first person for the RE Veronica remake, it should have been obvious it was 3rd).

Veronica’s remake releases next year, Requiem has all of 2026 left for its DLC, (1/2)

It’s been a while but new drawing: Lunafreya Nox Fleuret (ルナフレーナ・ノックス・フルーレ) from Final Fantasy XV. A character (and game) I wish would have been a bit more developed.

@sammylee_0 It was VII, the first game my parents bought me on PS1 with the console.

But no, my favorite is IX, I do really like VII but I prefer both VIII and especially IX, which imo is *the* perfect Final Fantasy game.

Égalité parfaite entre Final Fantasy IX et Resident Evil CODE:Veronica.

Le 1er est parfait visuellement, avec l’histoire la plus touchante que j’ai pu expérimenter.
Le 2nd est le meilleur opus de ma saga préférée, mais techniquement dépassé, le remake sera donc peut-être No. 1 !

OTS view, handled by the RE2/4 remakes team, considered mainline and just as important as a numbered title by Capcom (so it’s not “JuSt A sPinOfF” 🖕🏻).

I guess the day Nintendo remakes A Link to the Past, I’ll get to feel what all you Ocarina of Time fans are feeling right now, lol.

@wintersre9uiem Lol, agreed, but Konami remade Silent Hill 2 before SH1, Crystal Dynamics remade Tomb Raider 1 as Anniversary, rebooted it in 2013, only to remake it again with Legacy of Atlantis and Square is…doing…something with FFVII 😅

I’m just happy my fave RE game is getting its remake.

@Nakayomi Perso, même si je suis un gros fan de Supermassive (j’ai torché The Quarry et Frank Stone dans tous les sens, lol), je vais laisser leur chance à ce studio et cette "suite".

Surtout que des anciens ayant bossé sur Until Dawn premier du nom travaillent dans ce nouveau studio 🤞🏻🤞🏻
