There’s a big difference between paying homage and giving credit.
I find disingenuous to benefiting from someone else’s creativity while the recognition never reaches the people who actually created it, which Jz seems to have been doing. And when I look at J-FZ’s catalog, a lot of the biggest records people associate with him seem tied to collaborations, borrowed ideas, or longstanding credit disputes.
May Pac and Biggie continue to rest in peace- I wonder what happened to those missing PAC notes and boxes🤔🤷🏽♀️
