@Jason_hildo@BaldurBarons Very true, we found that in our climate it keeps the plants healthy enough that the layer disease pressure doesn’t seem to negatively affect them as badly
@laycock_da29909@BaldurBarons I would assume it’s much more beneficial in a climate that is more wet and humid than ours, we’ve tried it on our irrigated land and never seen any difference at all
@LowBoomLowDrift I do it when it’s extremely dusty, seems to help a bit. Don’t see a point in crops that I know will require additional passes with the sprayer tho
@BantrySeedFarms I try to shut down at 25, but we went at 40 this year cuz we simply had no choice. We slowed down and ran at 30-35 psi that day. My crop was the only one at risk to damage also. We’ve got a weather station on one sprayer and I like it for giving me instant idea of what gusts are
@LowBoomLowDrift 74 sofar on the year, but haven’t had a tender truck following me around yet. And last week we were rinsing 2-3 times a day juggling the wind. Hope to pump those numbers up
Well that’s a wrap on seeding, although it took us 3 days to do the last 140 acres and 3 different drills we got er done! Had more stuck tractors than ever before, and got to try a few new things. Excited to see what the season holds!
@farmerjim79@58thF I can’t believe someone got paid to design it lol. We run Dutch low draft 2.5” side band on them, 10” space one still throws dirt over 4mph, but 12” space one works fantastic
@russpauls We really liked it, just a ground drive 9800. Would definitely go vr/Oct if we buy a second one. Never want to use the old coil cart again lol
