Illegal land occupation affects communities, public services, and planned development. If you witness or become aware of a suspected land invasion, report it immediately through the appropriate municipal channels.
Staff from the Waste Management Directorate continue to work tirelessly to keep the City clean, using dedicated personnel and mechanical sweepers to maintain our streets. However, the success of these efforts also depends on residents and visitors taking responsibility for their waste.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to follow proper waste management practices by refraining from littering and illegal dumping, and by placing refuse outside only on the morning of their scheduled collection day.
Be part of the positive movement as keeping the City clean is a shared responsibility.
