From a consumer perspective, I think the Web2 ~> Web3 shift is subtle. For content creators it’s more pronounced.

In Web2 to share, earn income, get distribution, etc… I have to give my content over to a company. In Web3, to get all that, I give my content to the network where I own and control the content. Then, potentially invite a company to help.
