Celebrated #Ethiopian activist @SuleimanAbdell7 who has more than 400k followers on Twitter is facing persecution by @AbiyAhmedAli regime. Suleiman was a passionate supporter of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed regime until recently where he publicly denounced the regime’s ongoing atrocities against the Amhara people. Suleiman is a legal resident of Saudi Arabia. Ethiopian ambassador in Saudi Arabia Mr. Lencho Bati who received direct order from Prime Minster Abiy Ahmed Ali is pressing the Saudi government for Suleiman’s deportation. We are kindly asking the US Department of State to grant asylum visa to activist Suleiman Abdela so he could enter the US and exercise freedom of speech without facing persecution.
