This week has been an experience.

Since ticketing opened, I've slowly been discovering that half the people in my non-ARMY GCs bought BTS tickets.

Not just ARMY.

Not pretending to be ARMY.

Just casual listeners.

And every single time someone casually drops, "Oh yeah, I got tickets," I'm like... YOU TOO?! 😭 and also “Yes!!! Behold the power of Bangtan!!!” 😈

The more people I talk to, the more the absolute shitfight that was ticketing starts making sense.

I have solid evidence now that ARMY were not just competing with ARMY.

We were competing with ARMY, casual listeners, curious locals, people who wanted to see what the fuss was about, and apparently every second person I know. 😂

The funniest part is what happened next.

Now they're all asking me where to buy merch.

"Where do I get a lightstick?"

"Where do I get merch?"

"How does Weverse work?"

And I have never shared the Weverse app link so many times in my life.

Every conversation be like:

Them: "I need help."

Me: "Download Weverse."

Them: "Why is this app such a shitshow to use?"

Me: "Ah. I see you've reached the authentic ARMY experience. Welcome. We've been complaining about it for years." 🤝

Also, if you're a casual, I'd probably think very carefully before buying stadium merch because that line is going to be a battlefield in its own right.

Anyway, for anyone still looking, I believe there are still some Sydney and Melbourne tickets on TM.
