🔑 for those who care enough to read this — this morning I woke up and wanted to challenge myself and my artistic ability — especially being I’m a full time artist who pays the bills with art sales.

I gave myself a simple task — spend less than $20 at the store to purchase art supplies and use ONLY those supplies to create artwork for sale.

I purchased a sketchbook, a pack of watercolor markers and a pack of ink markers. I sat at a bench in the park and got to work… drawing freestyle whatever came to my brain.. in a few hours time I was able to produce 12 original sketches..

I started a Sketchbook Sale (I’ve never done this before) and offered any page for sale for $300 each. In the first 2 hours, 4 pages have already sold. Earning me over $1,000 profit for the day.

The point of this tweet is, being a fulltime artist in 2023 is Absolutely possible - you just have to wake up every single morning with the desire in your heart to MAKE MORE ART and every now and then you gotta run a creative sale.
