@TobyTurner @MeltingTv At least, that's my interpretation of that. Again, the wording would need to be very careful and specific in an actual law, so self defense weapons were still obtainable, but your average person can't go get an AR-15 from a sporting good store without getting a permit

@TobyTurner @MeltingTv Well, he did specify supersonic AND large magazine. So a citizen could obtain a pistol with a standard magazine (for self defense), and small hunting rifles without a permit. Idk, it might need tweaked but the concept isn't terrible as long as permits are obtainable by citizens.

But I do agree that death row is completely overkill here and there are people who deserve that way more like pedos and serial killers. He should do the time and hopefully learn from his mistakes.

@MACAUEC @PJaccetturo It's basically Scanner Darkly, but AI applying a look, instead of hand rotoscoped. But with both AI and rotoscoping, you get a less emotive animation because animation does better breaking free from reality and being able to squash and stretch and smear and exaggerate motion.

@MACAUEC @PJaccetturo The only reason they could make this is because they had existing, good looking footage from a well written movie. This wouldn't put any companies out of business, it would just change the production costs to filming instead of hand drawn, and then basically adding a filter.

@c_fergerstrom @TreysianLoL Plus, with the school credit thing, there's a lot of degrees that require a certain number of intern hours in order to graduate, and it's often tricky to find an internship so this is actually helping local film students finish their degree.

It's not replacing an artists job, it's replacing his half-assed Photoshop attempt with a much better way to demonstrate his vision
