My Freedom Flotilla journey.

I was a subconscious racist for many years — I believed the lies, bought into the propaganda, and never questioned the dehumanisation of Palestinians in the media. It’s embarrassing to admit, but it’s the truth.

Then I went to Palestine. What I saw shattered everything I thought I knew. I witnessed apartheid. I saw families brutalised, children terrorised, and an entire people stripped of their basic humanity — all under the boot of Israeli occupation. That experience changed me forever.

Since then, I’ve dedicated my life to standing with the Palestinian people. And that’s why I joined the Freedom Flotilla — to challenge Israel’s illegal blockade of Gaza, to deliver desperately needed aid, and to send a message to the world:

Palestinians are not alone.

We will not stay silent.
We will not stand by.
We sail for justice.
We sail for Gaza.
We sail for freedom.

The Freedom Flotilla Coalition has partnered again with Forensic Architecture and equipped the Handala with an advanced tracking system. This technology plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety of those on board, maintaining transparency about the vessel's location, and holding potential aggressors accountable for their actions.

Quand ils procéderont à notre arrestation je les regarderai comme Larbi Ben M’Hidi a regardé les colonisateurs de sa terre : sereine, assurée de la libération de la Palestine. Ils sont les occupants de cette terre, nous sommes ses racines.

On pense libérer la Palestine mais c’est elle qui chaque jour nous libère un peu plus.

J’accuse la complicité coloniale occidentale.
J’accuse la lâcheté arabe.
J’accuse la collaboration de la bourgeoisie palestinienne.
