Hey Paramount: Since you've killed all your Star Trek shows at the same time and your entire network now stinks, here's an idea: Make a new show, maybe start with animation and grow it from there. Here's the basic plot:

The new show is set in the 25th century, a few generations after refugees from a used-up Earth had tried to establish independence from the Federation.
After the War, many of the Independents who had fought and lost drifted to the edges of the galaxy, far from Federation control.
