I spoke with @sanchezcastejon about the power outage in the Iberian Peninsula.

I reaffirmed the @EU_Commission's support in monitoring the situation with national and European authorities and our Electricity Coordination Group.

We will coordinate efforts and share information to help restore the electricity system, and agreed to stay in close contact.

Zo’n 20% van de 🇪🇺CO2-uitstoot komt uit wegtransport. De transportsector is bovendien de enige waar de uitstoot is toegenomen tov 1990.

Elektrische wagens zijn deel van de oplossing om ons transport te vergroenen. Goed voor het klimaat én een toekomstbestendige auto-industrie!
