They love their outside concerts in Southern Italy, while those on the stage struggle! There was once a huge rain storm in Avellino (beyond Napoli). The audience sat on the Monastery's stairs. Somehow there was enough space for players' bows and the acoustics helped us.

@DianaBurrell48 Sorry for very delayed reply as we've been in King's Lynn for the launch of the 75th @KLFestival, and an excellent student showcase concert. Ticket sales so far not bad!
@MartinSchalle17@DettmannSimon I don't remember a few days in Lecce, just the concert day with wind blowing over music stands, and therefore bars missing while players tried to re-organise clothes pegs. (All the food must have been anyway good....)

At least there is a Royal Fest. Hall for orchestral concerts. Around the UK many theatres (since covid) closed for refurbs and, on re-opening, managers forgot about classical music. The regional orchestras do concerts out of their ACE budgets but chamber musicians also need work
