We are a European Research Infrastructure Consortium for chemical biology, supporting life science research and its translation to medicine and agriculture.
Frederik is the CEO of Connecting Pharma BV and Vice President of Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Development and Manufacturing at https://t.co/auHln6joUo. In the frame of the @ND4BB_ENABLE and @AmrCombine projects, he will discuss topics for antibiotic drug discovery.
We’re ready for you at the EU-OPENSCREEN Autumn Training School!
Join us next week to learn about all the latest in chemical biology and early drug discovery from our excellent speakers, including Arrate Munoz Barrutia (@ArrateMunoz), Stephanie Wilhelm and Frederik Deroose.
Stephanie’s a biochemist at the Chair of Proteomics & Bioanalytics at @TU_Muenchen, where she develops methods to characterise small molecule degraders. She'll discuss mode-of-action analysis of small molecule degraders & (chemo)proteomic methods to characterise them.
Carlos, a software developer & data scientist, integrates AI into bioimage processing through no-code solutions. He’s a creator of the DeepImageJ & SAMJ software and an active contributor to the Bioimage. io initiative. His talk will focus on no-code AI software for Fiji and Icy.
Don’t miss your chance to join us next week for our free virtual training school! https://t.co/1zQRA8ci7x
You’ll get the chance to learn about chemical biology & early drug discovery from an excellent lineup of speakers, including Miguel Mano & Carlos Lopez.
Miguel’s a group leader at @cnc_uc and manages HTS platforms at CNC-UC & @KingsCollegeLon. He also co-leads work in our #HorizonEU project IMPULSE to develop EU-OS services for advanced diseases models & genetic screening. In his talk, he’ll cover advanced disease models for HTS
Guillaume heads the Proteomics Core Facility at @uoaofficial, where he focuses on harnessing bottom-up proteomics readouts for proteome-wide medchem & drug discovery. He’ll use a case study involving HDACs to explain the principles of affinity matrix-based chemoproteomics.

Tune into insightful talks from experts in these fields, including Brinton Seashore-Ludlow and Guillaume Médard.
Brinton from @karolinskainst is a team leader in the department of Oncology–Pathology, a group leader at @scilifelab and head of the Chemical Biology Consortium Sweden biology team. She’ll cover several topics related to high-content screening for drug discovery and re-purposing.
Don’t forget to register for the EU-OPENSCREEN Autumn Training School!
On November 25–27 we’ll have an excellent group of speakers online to discuss all the latest in chemical biology & drug discovery.
We’re excited to have Sarela Garcia Santamarina and Jose Brea on the program
Jose is a Professor of Pharmacology at @UniversidadeUSC and Head of Automation and HTS at the Innopharma platform. He will review the different parameters that should be considered when developing an HTS assay, including tests to determine assay robustness.
Haim is a senior staff scientist at Weizmann Institute of Science & Head of Drug Discovery & Medicinal Chemistry at the Israel National Center for Personalized Medicine. He will present some lessons he learned while establishing a viable screening center for academic researchers.
Don't forget to register for our 4th annual EU-OPENSCREEN Autumn Training School to hear about innovative perspectives for chemical biology & early drug discovery! https://t.co/1zQRA8bKhZ
Today, we’re introducing two more of our invited speakers: Olga Genilloud and Haim Barr
Olga is Scientific Director & Head of the Microbiology Department at @MEDINADiscovery. She’ll discuss the use of natural products for drug discovery & link to the #HorizonEU project @EUREMAP on supporting academic & industrial research for marine natural products bioprospecting.
