@rmmilman Very true. I feel the same about the term 'dose optimisation' - reducing doses, even up to 50%, for most x-ray exams the risk (in 15+ years) drop is tiny - but if you don't have sufficient image quality and cause incorrect diagnosis - that can have serious implications.

New EurRadiol paper: Comparison of the detection of subtle calc clusters & masses between 2D, 2D+tomo, syn2D+tomo. No sig diff in cluster detection, generally visibility of clusters the same or better in tomo than 2D.

@rmmilman It's a difficult balance reviewing. Generally I don't ask for more data, maybe suggest occasionally - often collection not possible. Re-analyse yes. I remember one reviewer essentially asked for a PhD worth of work! Successfully argued No!

@rmmilman I can also emphasize some of @rmmilman comments. It is surprising how much noise around that you don't notice until you start recording. Check your sound level, you may need a mic. Set aside a lot of time. Reduce talk content and make sure you get your main message across.
