🇪🇺🎶 Culture at the heart of Europe

Today, the Presidents of the @Europarl_EN , the @EUCouncil and the @EU_Commission signed the Joint Declaration 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲, reaffirming their commitment to place culture at the centre of the European project.

The declaration champions artistic #freedom, cultural #diversity, #inclusion, fair conditions for artists, and stronger support for Europe’s cultural and creative sectors.

At the EUYO, we welcome this commitment and its recognition that 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲’𝘀 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲. Through music, young people continue to connect across borders and bring Europe’s shared #values to life. 🎻✨

What a night with our EUYO musicians, @OuluSinfonia , Rumon Gamba, Marianne Beate Kielland, Tuomas Katajala & composer Lara Poe 💐👏

Our concert 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲, 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲! took us from Dvořák’s Carnival to the world premiere of Poe’s 𝘞𝘩𝘪𝘳𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘨, and Mahler’s 𝘋𝘢𝘴 𝘓𝘪𝘦𝘥 𝘷𝘰𝘯 𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘌𝘳𝘥𝘦.
