UT Martin men's basketball is trying a different approach to summer workouts.
That is, by not holding summer workouts.
With a team of 14 international players, Skyhawk HC Jeremy Shulman believes this new approach will benefit the program.

Most defenses are built on avoiding rotations.
Jeremy Shulman’s view is different:
What if you worked on rotations so much that they became the strength?
Loved this conversation on defensive tradeoffs, uniqueness, & attacking hedge.

So proud of our guys for their effort last night!! Fighting through being short handed from injuries, fighting through fatigue, fighting through growing pains of being one of the youngest teams nationally - our guys continue to battle, continue to grow!! Love the journey w them🧡
Martin, you were amazing❤️
OVC basketball is more than worth watching, and with an incredible staff at the helm for the Skyhawks, Coach Shulman has stewarded this program is an incredible way.
Thank you to UT-Martin for having me tonight!
@BlueBloodedPod trip soon?
To any coach needing to hear this, especially in the social media era - the anxiety & stress of the season is real. Don’t think because everything looks easy on social media, that there aren’t so many stresses, fears, & doubts. Try to lean on those who love and care about you🙏
