Is Rosie herself a racist person? No.
Are ppl still allowed to be uncomfortable by the implications of her and Alastor’s dynamic as owner and slave and analyze them from a racial perspective? Yes.
And before anyone says it, yes this also applies to Alastor and Husk’s dynamic.
Because for once he actually DID do what he was supposed to do, on the surface! He fulfilled a prompt that made everyone happy.
But to Caine, HE needed to create things that they all enjoyed. These were the Humans' creations, and not his own.
So in his eyes, he still failed.
Yes, they did it to hurt their target more while projecting their own insecurities on them
The problem is Pomni has a more strong will than Vox and Alastor was crueler than Jax
Honestly this was way scarier than his crashout at the beginning of the episode
You expect a joke about how oblivious he is like so many before, but then that “Where’s Kinger” hits you like a truck
it makes you think he's gonna say something outlandish and unrealistic as the anticipated run-of-the-mill oblivious joke but No the way he says "where's kinger." Genuinely shocked me the first watch because he was So Very Deadass
I figure I should mention that Caine isn't really evil, he's just kind of oblivious. He has a hard time understanding humans, but he tries his best.
Even if his best ends up turning Pomni and the others into knife pincushions.
