Our people 🇸🇱 are burdened with so much, basic needs go unmet, yet they try so hard to make lemonade out of their lemons. It’s unacceptable that they now have to deal with these repeated tragedies surrounding our kids and blatant escape of justice by the perpetrators. As many in our community, I am heartbroken to hear these two young boys lost their lives as the girl fights for hers. This has shattered our fragile sense of security.
Behold, check your government officials and politicians online. While our people suffer, they are busy showcasing only themselves, blind to our pain. The welfare of the people is not their priority, controlling the narrative and selling their brands takes precedence. Their absence of compassion and genuine empathy today should not be forgotten tomorrow.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ May the Almighty help us find the courage to finally stand up and help ourselves 🤲🏾 May He comfort the families 🙏🏾 🫂 #SierraLeone

Our government spent 7 straight years bragging about actively cleaning our nation’s abroad only to land us into international cocaine scandals of embarrassing proportions and on a proposed US travel ban mainly because of a weak or corrupt governance. Maybe it’s time for a RESULT/PERFORMANCE AUDIT of the numerous travels. I have no doubt that the results will reveal shocking dimensions of waste and absolute lack of value for tax-payers’ money.

This is a brilliant call to action! We’ve witnessed how the First Lady’s compassion and connection with everyday Sierra Leoneans bridge divides where government systems fall short. By standing with citizens in their legitimate concerns, she can strengthen both democracy and her family's legacy.
