@ZacksJerryRig@Ch_JesusChrist Don’t worry, the church is already on the ground (always first to respond), with food, water and temporary shelter in our meeting houses. Our disaster relief teams are in contact with the local government and working with them as well.
Happy Palm Sunday! What a wonderful time to reflect on our lives as we begin the celebration of the most significant week in all of history. God be thanked for the matchless gift of his son, the holy one, Jesus Christ.
The road to redemption began with “hosanna.” As we remember the triumphal entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem, may our hearts welcome Him this Easter season.
Elder Gilbert: "BYU had slipped. There were a lot of pressures for BYU to be just like the world. [President Holland] was bemoaning that he could feel this drift happening to the university and he's like, 'What have they done with our school that we love so much?'"
Later he hints that a few professors were participating in this push (seems most have been weeded out now), BUT most were on team Holland and were excited to get BYU back on track.
Don't let progs tell you BYU was going in the right direction and that you were wrong to worry about what was/is happening.
Don't let conservatives blackpill you into believing it's not being addressed.
"On the dusty roads to Jericho, each of us has been laughed at, embarrassed and hurt, perhaps scorned or abused. And with varying degrees of intent, each of us has also disregarded, not seen or heard, perhaps deliberately hurt others. It is precisely because we have been hurt and have hurt others that Jesus Christ brings us all to His inn. In His Church and through His ordinances and covenants, we come to each other and to Jesus Christ. We love and are loved, serve and are served, forgive and are forgiven. Please remember, “earth has no sorrow that heav’n cannot heal”; earth burdens lighten—our Savior’s joy is real."
