I think afrofuturism is a very interesting topic that allows us to tell stories from the African American perspective but also add new elements of story telling that we don’t normally see.

I found it interesting how the start for the story was this pursuit for betterment of self and quickly turns into disaster as if that was the real story trying to be told the whole time. #xavierfys04

Adichie’s TEDTalk was very good and helped me to realize the stereotypes that we in everyday life make on others that we don’t know. It inspired me to learn more about other cultures and other people instead of assuming who and what they are.

It seems that Cath and Levis love story is over romanticized. It’s very fictional and in my opinion u relatable to my life and the lives of actual people in love. #xavierfys04
