sometimes i genuinely wonder where all these millions of people are when evan needs them the most

millions have followed him, joined his weverse community, liked his posts, watched his content and interacted with him but when it comes to the things that actually help him during a cb, suddenly the numbers feel completely different

do you actually care about evan as an artist or is it only the interaction and the occasional “y/n moment” that matters?

i know everyone has a real life. people have university, jobs, families, responsibilities and things they need to deal with. nobody is asking you to be online 24/7 but there are people here who are already juggling all of that and still making time to vote and stream because they understand how important this is for him

that’s the point. nobody is doing this because they have nothing better to do. they’re doing it because evan matters to them and they want to give him the support he deserves

and honestly why do we have to explain the same things every cb? we shouldn’t have to keep reminding people that cb periods are crucial. we shouldn’t have to beg for basic participation or repeatedly say “vote like this, stream like this” as if supporting an artist is something completely unfamiliar

a fb can organize, guide and provide everything you need but a fb cannot replace millions of individual fans. we can’t carry the entire fandom on our backs and somehow produce the results of everyone who chose not to participate

teamwork makes the dream work and if we genuinely want to see evan succeed, this has to be a collective effort

“we’re a new fandom” cannot become a permanent excuse. being a new fandom means we have room to grow, not that we should stay passive while other fandoms build stronger voting and streaming habits around us

i really hope more people wake up and start treating evan’s career with the seriousness they claim to have for him. because support cannot only exist in words, likes and edits. there are moments when he needs us to actually show up

so please, i’m genuinely asking you. prioritise voting and streaming during this cb. follow the fanbases, turn on notifications, read the guides and stay updated. don’t wait until the results are out and wonder why we couldn’t do more

we have the numbers. what we need now is the effort behind them.

Heeseung is working so hard right now, and we should be praising him and enjoy his content. There are things that are bigger than us and we cannot control. Let's keep voting and streaming, but first and foremost let's create a beautiful atmosphere in our fandom. We have been through enough already, so let's focus on the positives. His music is amazing and we have been waiting it for a very long time. Let's work hard but put his music as a priority.

okay i'm going to give an opinion [and it's embarrassing to have opinions] but it really really sucks that evan just had his official debut earlier this week and it was Amazing. the songs are phenomenal, the music video is incredible, we're seeing such an amazing, positive shift in how the gp reacts to hs and his music, there's so much new content, evan is gaining new fans everyday, he's working unbelievably hard with meeting evers often both offline and online and yet being on here feels sooo soulcrushing. everyone is so negative.

all attempts at raising the morale on here keeps falling flat and it really hurts my heart a lot. i was anticipating such a bright atmosphere and it's the complete opposite .... i'm quietly collecting on voting apps and streaming offline, but with all the harsh criticisms and lack of grace, it doesn't surprise me that so many people are becoming inactive too. i wish they didn't have to though :( it was supposed to be such a special week. rod was already so difficult because of outside the fandom so it sucks to see dom feel the same way but this time the negativity is within the fandom. i just wish everyone was kinder and optimistic, especially with evan working so hard to make us happy.

i understand completely that some things are disheartening to see but i also think at some point we have to understand there's some things that are out of our control :( right now, evan's sept + oct schedules are slowly filling up. he's about to be so unbelievably busy showing us all the sides of him he's been preparing so long and hard for us. all we can do now is motivate not only him, but one another. we should embrace the positives, discuss the music happily (like evan wants us to) and do our best for him. i hate to see the disconnect and pessimism. i'm hoping everyone can start shifting their energy so that everyone can start becoming more active + motivated again. but that's just what i feel personally 😣
